Promotion of Made in Cameroon

The Hilton hotel in Yaoundé served as the setting last Thursday, December 6, 2023 for the 3rd edition of the Cameroon Business Today Champions 2023.

Supporting SMEs and SMIs in their growth towards excellence is the ambitious challenge that the SOPECAM staff set themselves by initiating this project three years ago.

Of the nearly 400 companies that initially subscribed, after studying the applications received, 250 of them met the selection criteria. According to the president of the jury, Professor Henri Ngoa Tabi, 50 companies stood out from the crowd after criteria awarding points, we selected 11 winners instead of ten as in previous years. Of these eleven companies, we have 8 women project leaders compared to three men, only 5 companies will receive awards, namely the special jury prize, the best hope prize and the three on the final podium (GOLD, Silver and Bronze). The other 6 will nevertheless receive participation diplomas. It must be said, this ceremony was placed under the high patronage of the first, head of government Dr. Chief Joseph Dion Ngute represented for the occasion by the deputy minister director of the cabinet, Professor Kante.

In her speech for the occasion, Marie Claire Nnana wanted to thank all the technical and financial partners for their trust. The ambition is to support the government in the structural transformation of our country. Let's consume Cameroonian products because many are unknown to the general public, yet the national market is not negligible.
