The project is part of the work undertaken as part of the economic asphalting of municipal roads. Today, it ensures the connection between Bazou, Tongo and Milombe, thus making the transport of people and goods easy. To date, the work has been completed and the MINTP teams are preparing their reception.
The surface coating bitumen project and the treatment of steep slopes on the Bazou-Tongo-Milombe road are part of the rehabilitation and asphalting works on certain sections of the Bazou-Tongo-Milombe road (34.8 km) and Bretelles vers the Nkondjock village (3Km) and the Fanda village (4Km) in the West and Littoral regions.
To date, the work has been completed and the teams are preparing their provisional acceptance. The work carried out on this 34.8 km route by the CAS-BUN'S group has now been completed, including on the ramps. In its consistency, the project included general earthworks on the existing platform with the aim of obtaining a width of 6 and 8 meters, the shaping of the platform, the rehabilitation and re-profile of the cut embankments, the restoration to the profile of ditches and outlets, the implementation of the base layer of lateritic gravel, the execution of a wearing course of stone paving, the supply and installation of culverts, the construction of culvert heads, the construction masonry and concrete ditches, the reconstruction or reinforcement of certain crossing structures, impregnation, the implementation of a two-layer surface coating and the implementation of a rubble masonry covering among others, for a cost total of 3,380,257,602 CFA francs including tax.
