Congo Brazzaville-born boxer Ardi Dasylva Ndembo, who was in a coma following blows to the head in his final Team Combat League heavyweight bout against Nestor Santana on April 06, 2024, has finally died after two weeks in a deep coma in a Miami hospital in the USA.

Ardi Dasylva Ndembo was a passionate boxer and admirer of Cameroonian Francis Ngannou. He had competed in the heavyweight category of the Team Combat League for several years. Ndembo was knocked out by his Cuban opponent Nestor Santana in a Team Combat League heavyweight bout that left him in a coma for two weeks. The Congolese had fallen in the ring after receiving several violent blows to the back of the head on April 06. Following this incident, he was admitted to Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, where, according to Congolese media reports, he suffered severe trauma.
