During the period from February 1 to February 29, 2024 several services were carried out by the teams of the Rapid Intervention Battalion on the work site, in the South-West region. Overall, roadworks, sanitation, services linked to hydraulic works.
The earthworks carried out concern the excavation and disbursement of the existing roadway and the execution of the upper part of the earthworks, while several hydraulic works have been identified along the 60 km of the project route.
Regarding sanitation, the teams carried out the reinforcement and pouring of the gutters, the cleaning of the gutters, the excavation of the gutters and the execution of clean concrete. Several road works were also carried out, in particular the execution of the foundation layer, the supply of the base layer, the adjustment of the stakes of the different layers of roadway (platform, foundation).
For the next few weeks, the teams plan to lay the gutters up to PK 2+300, create a culvert at PK 0+930, build the upper earthworks platform up to PK 5, and carry out the foundation and base layers up to PK 5.
