As of March 23, 2024, it should be noted that on this 60 km section linking Ntui to Ndjolé on the Nationale 15, the work carried out over the last seven days by the company concerns the layers of the roadway, the construction of the bridge on the Méloko River and the drain works.
With physical progress of 52% as of March 23, construction work on this 60 km road is progressing at a satisfactory pace. To date, the excavation, backfilling and purging have been completed along the entire length, the platform has also been completed and the foundation layer created covers a length of 59.725 km. Regarding the base and wearing layers, we note that these are respectively implemented over 47.325 km and 18.125 km.
The CR 20 company in charge of the work constructed 81 hydraulic structures, as well as 33,590 ml of lined ditches to ensure longitudinal drainage. With particular regard to the work under construction on the Méloko River, we note that the installation of the pre-slabs has been completed on the first two spans and on the last, while the formwork and concreting of the support spacers are in progress.
