It was under bookish notes and celebrations of African literary pens that the official opening ceremony of the 5th international forum of actors in the book industry in Yaoundé was held, Wednesday February 28, 2024 at the conference room. celebration of the premises of the NGO S.O.S children's village, town of Mbalmayo, chaired by the representative of the prefect of Nyong and So'o in the presence of several guests and actors from the book industry at the occurrence of delegations from invited countries: Senegal (guest of honor), Ivory Coast, Congo, France and many other performances, pupils and students including dance groups (nyanga dance from the northwest) and actors musical art (merlino and policeman).
In a well-paced timing, several speeches followed one another, notably the speech by the representative of the prefect. Some special awards were given to some authors for their involvement in promoting the book industry in Africa; deserved honors for these men and women who work with the pen in the service of development; for the organizers, the first day remains a winning bet. For the promoter, proud of the feat, we keep our heads on our shoulders in the face of such a repeat feat. Participants from foreign countries in Africa share with great love the joy of finding themselves in the city of Mbalmayo.
Having reached the 3rd day, the foraly 2024 after Wednesday, deported its locomotive to the main prison of Mbalmayo for activities outside the walls: talks, dictation competitions.
