After the official launch in Akono in Mefou and Akonoma on Tuesday February 27 of the activities linked to International Women's Day 2024 edition, Mrs. Marie Thérèse Obama Epse Abena Ondoa Minister for the Promotion of Women and the Family put on her tennis shoes and wore her jogging to accompany this Saturday, March 2, the women who came from all diverse backgrounds to take part in this sports walk in the arteries of the city of seven hills. several administrations distinguished themselves by their massive presence at this sports march which ended with a race for people with reduced motor skills on Boulevard du 20 Mai with the presentation of trophies to encourage them.
Several other activities are planned during the week with the parade on March 8 to close.

Friday March 8, we will take part in the parade planned for this occasion on the boulevard in the presence of the first lady. At the Mindcaf level, awareness is raised among women to let them know that they have the right to land ownership, we provide them with all the necessary information in order to own a land title».
