In recent weeks, the company BUN'S Sarl has carried out studies on the structure of parking areas and the structure of rest areas. It also carried out the construction of 49,700 ml of sanitation works and 790 ml of hydraulic works. On this section of road, the Minister of Public Works instructed the company to respect the route, to monitor the work every 15 days and to work closely with the administrative authorities.
The construction works on the Kumbo-Ndu section are co-financed by the African Development Bank (AfDB), Africa Growing Together Fund and the Republic of Cameroon for a total amount of 29,287,910,500 FCFA excluding tax. The execution of the work was entrusted to the company BUN'S Sarl under the technical control of the CAEM/AFRICA ENGINEERING/GIC MALI Group. It is important to note that the project has employed several young local residents since its start.
Once completed, this new section will help improve road infrastructure in the North-West region, thereby facilitating travel and promoting economic development in the region..
