The Ntui-Ndjole road construction project also provides for the development of 73 km of municipal roads in the Mbam and Kim department. The routes concerned are Salakounou – Mbongue (4.1 km), Ossombe – Bianguele (9.5 km), Ndimi – Ndalena over a length of 18.1 km, Yalongo – Bikong (13.2 km), Kombe Bengue – Meloko over a length of 10.6 km, Nguila – Yapcka (6.7 km) and Issandja – Mimfoumbe with a length of 10.4 km.
During this week, the work carried out was mainly cleaning work, tree felling, deforestation and brush clearing. We note, however, that in the absence of any compensation on municipal roads, the width of the deforestation/clearing area extends over 6.00 m from the axis, with the exception areas of large embankments or excavations. It was recommended to mobilize the personnel in charge of the construction of hydraulic works on these municipal roads.
