Between studies and entrepreneurship, the winner of the Miss VENTA 2023 competition, NZOPPA LELE Marie-Paule lets her potential shine. Its project, S.O.S Environnement Vie, initiated to contribute to the preservation of lives and the fight against unsanitary conditions, displays a glimmer of hope in its mission.
NZOPPA LELE MARIE PAULE was born on April 15, 2003 in Douala. Daughter of LELE MICHEL and TETE Julienne, Marie-Paule had a fairly successful school career. Originally from the NKAM department, coastal region, she will carry out her primary studies in the town FOUMBAN department of NOUN where she obtains her C.E.P, she continues her secondary education in Bafoussam and KEKEM where she leaves with her B.E.P.C and probationary A4esp diplomas , she will finish her secondary studies in the city of MELONG with her A4esp baccalaureate in 2020. Her success in the baccalaureate will open the doors to the University of Douala where she enrolls in the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences, sociology sector. ; she has just obtained her degree in urban and rural sociology with a section of research in environmental sociology. Greatly passionate about modeling, Cameroonian and African culture, Marie-Paule decided to launch into the world of top model and modeling in order to be trained and carry out some projects relating to entrepreneurship, the environment, promotion of Cameroonian culture and fashion.
More than determination, she entered the very first edition of the Miss Venta competition in the service of hygiene and sanitation on behalf of the coastal region organized by the company VENTA INVESTMENTS COMPANY LIMITED, from which she was able to acquire its values, particularly those on hygiene and sanitation. She will thus be selected during the casting held on December 11, 2022 at the new-Bell youth center in the city of Douala and won the very first regional Miss VENTA crown, on March 11, 2023 at the Mac Donah Garden space. On July 22, 2023, after a tough test, she became the very first Miss VENTA on a national scale, also a special jury prize, elected during the national final which brought together the finalists from the central and coastal regions in the city. from Yaoundé, at the planet ponce cabaret.
Miss venta 2023 aims to contribute to hygiene and sanitation actions, including those linked to so-called renewable energies via its S.O.S environment – life project. On December 9, 2023, she managed to mobilize around a hundred student volunteers and professionals in the field of hygiene and sanitation, who actively participated in her campaign activity of cleaning toilets and collecting waste from services public and private, having had as their first stopover, campus 2 of the University of Douala. A moment which made it possible to contact that on this campus, there are certainly toilets but no maintenance service, which prevents a good number of students and teachers from being able to carry out their needs of this kind, during their stays. at campus 2 of the University of Douala. A reality that is experienced on several university campuses in Cameroon, jeopardizing the health and safety of these Cameroonian citizens in search of knowledge and know-how. The campaign also took place through messages in a few amphitheaters and ended with the presentation of certificates of participation.
To further amplify the fight, NZOPPA LELE Marie-Paule, will launch in the coming days via her Facebook and Instagram pages, the e.Toilet washing campaign. A challenge which will be animated by the production of videos of citizens of Cameroon and other African countries, in the middle of washing external and/or internal toilets, for a better video which will win a prize pool of 50,000 FCFA, aiming to encourage and raise awareness without constantly on the importance of promoting hygiene and sanitation and reducing the risk of disease within our societies. Participants will have to highlight the cleaning products, the equipment used and the cleaning techniques. The best video will stand out for its number of likes, comments, shares and views via the Miss Difference’s Instagram and Facebook pages.
