The publishing project for the book which will appear in a few days under the care of the publishing company EPUCAM SARL was presented to the media on April 17 in Yaoundé during a press lunch..
Raise awareness of mayors and the economic and cultural potential of cities and towns in Cameroon to better invest. This is the main objective of the document which will appear soon and whose publishing project was the subject of exchanges between Aimé Michel Kamande, its promoter and the men and women of the media. entitled: “Professional directory of mayors of Cameroon (2020-2025), this is an unprecedented project, the first of its kind in our latitudes. According to its promoter, it intends to be the beginning of a response to the ambitious and explained objectives of each mayor and his municipal council for the well-being of the population.
By going through it, we will be able to have a succinct view of the mayor's vision for his municipality, his main achievements as well as his projects, to name only these cases. Anything that will have the advantage of better informing potential partners and investors interested in the economic and cultural opportunities of each constituency.
Even more, this directory will provide, for example, to those in need, not only the identity or even the updated contacts of each of the 360 mayors in Cameroon. But also the exact location of said town halls as well as other administrative services of the municipality. “We are going to include in this directory all the municipalities of Cameroon. It will allow you to know the mayors, their visions, their projects... For example, it will allow you to know where the sub-prefecture is located, the land registry services, the hospital. For those who are outside the country and potential foreign investors and partners, they will find in this guide which will be available in diplomatic representations, all the information concerning the municipalities that they will need,” reiterated Aimé Michel Kamande.
Furthermore, this document which will give a completely different visibility to Cameroonian municipalities for the ultimate well-being of the populations will be available in economic chambers, business organizations, hotels, service stations, public administrations, private companies, town halls, etc. The average citizen will also be able to obtain it by simply purchasing it.
Revolutionary, this is in fact an idea, a concept that all Cameroonians should embrace. Aimé Michel Kamande, its promoter, took the opportunity during his meeting with the press to launch this vibrant appeal.
