The envelope allocated by the MINTP via the Road Fund to certain municipalities in the Southern region for this year 2024, will be used to carry out rehabilitation work on certain road sections and to ensure the construction of engineering structures in 11 districts.
In the Dja and Lobo department, several projects are planned, including the maintenance of sections of the Bifot-FeeOse (4km), Nkolvan-Mefo (3.5km) and Aboulou village-EligAboulou (5km) roads in the commune of Djoum for a financing of 178,990,684 FCFA.
Three projects are in sight in the Ocean department, namely the maintenance of the Poungou Aviation-Socapalm road section (7km) in the commune of Lokoundje, the construction of a double culvert 2*2*1.5m on the Bikoka River in Bikoka including the development of access roads (15km) in the commune of Lolodorf and the maintenance of the Awanda-Mvengue road section (6km) in the commune of Mvengue, for funding of 220,000,000 FCFA .
In the Ntem Valley, two projects are also planned, the maintenance of the Carrefour Mairie de KyeOssi-Market de Kye Ossi section (1.7 km) with the construction of a permanent 15 ml bridge over the Memie river in the commune of Kye-Ossi and the maintenance of the communal earth road Carrefour Nkol Bidjap-Rivière Mvi'li- Mb ll-Nkobo-Plantation-towards the Mvila river (13 km) in the commune of Ma'an, for an estimated cost of 187,940,642 FCFA.
Four projects are also planned in the Mvil department, notably the maintenance of the sections Obang ll-Ngoa Ekele (8km), Melangue l-Biwong Bane (14.5km), Minkan-Nkolamougou (5.4km) and Minkan-Akie (16km). .5km) in the commune of Biwong Bane, maintenance by treatment of critical points of the Akak-Afanegong municipal road (10km) in the commune of Ebolowa I, maintenance by treatment of critical points (large quagmires and construction works sanitation) of the Carrefour-Bilon municipal road (end tar limit Ebolowa ll)-Bityili-Ngoulessaman-Minkok (Ngoulemakong limit, Inter N2) with a length of 17km in the commune of Mengong. The works thus planned aim to improve the living conditions of the populations by ensuring the trafficability of the roads.
