Urban disorder or real need for urbanization?
This is the question we have been asking since March 21, 2024, the traders and owners of the restaurants on the beach of Ngoyé-Wamié not far from the city center of Kribi received the summons to leave signed by the mayor of the city Guy Emmanuel Sabikanda. There is danger in the house because traders no longer know which way to turn because we have put the cart before the horse, the deadline being Friday March 29, 2024, but to go where?
How can we evict people without providing a place of resettlement to allow them to resume their activities for these heads of family who have mouths to feed?
The occupants of this beach who offer visitors or tourists a refreshment point have a duty to clean this site by the sea and nevertheless pay the tickets to the municipal agents.
In order to avoid a social implosion in the seaside area, it is important that support measures are taken in order to find the right balance to do things better.
