These funds will make it possible to carry out road maintenance and construction work in 10 municipalities from the four departments of the Rising Sun region. They thus reinforce the allocations made to decentralized local authorities through the Public Investment Budget-MINTP.
The department of Boumba and Ngoko benefits from an allocation of 209,999,000 FCFA distributed as follows: 100,000,000 FCFA for the construction of a permanent bridge at kilometer point 4+200 of the Banana-Moukounounou road section in the commune of Moloundou and 109,999,000 FCFA for maintenance work on the Inter N10-Kendang river road section in the commune of Yokadouma. The Haut Nyong department, with 358,422,522 FCFA transferred to 5 municipalities, will see several sections of roads maintained. Maintenance work with stabilizing products on sections of roads Mouayoumou-Ecole Publique Mbama 5, Carrefour Orange-towards municipal entrance, Carrefour Mbama III-Carrefour Catholic nursery school Saint Jean Bosco, Collège de la Salle-Carrefour services social actions-Carrefour sous -prefecture-Carrefour party house, Carrefour sub-prefecture-Carrefour Fortin Allemand-City center roundabout, Carrefour sub-prefecture-Carrefour Fortin Allemand-Bilingual public nursery school-Carrefour Public school Group 1 and 2 and development of the road along the Doumé festival square. These works in the municipality of Doume, covering a length of 6.35 km, are financed to the tune of 59,983,386 FCFA. In the commune of Atok, maintenance work on sections of the Akok - Maka - Carrefour - Ebondenkou - Landa and Carrefour Ebondenkou - Ngoeb roads with a length of 15 km will be carried out, thanks to an allocation of 78,439 136 FCFA.
The commune of Angossas will carry out maintenance work on sections of the Djokoundi - Limite Chiembi (10 km) and Carrefour Mpoundou-Limite Doumaintang (9.60 km) roads thanks to funding from this allocation from the MINTP-line Road Fund up to of 70,000,000 FCFA. In the commune of Doumaintang, maintenance work is scheduled by treatment of three dikes (1,200 km) on the intercommunal road Carrefour Mpoundou - Oulbiam (20.6 km): Section Angossas Limit - Oulbiam Limit (11.00 km) and the section of road Int R0209 - Carrefour Mekouam - Kilometer 10 (10 km) and ramps Carrefour Mekouam - Limite Nkonsimbang (2.5 km) and Int R0209 - Woulbane (2.5 km) in the amount of 80,000,000 fcfa and in the commune of Mindourou, the work to treat potential break points (including commissioning of scuppers) on the road Sub-Prefecture Mindourou - Bitoumo River - Mindourou District Medical Center are also financed to the tune of 70,000,000 FCFA. In the Kadey department, three municipalities benefit from an envelope of 195,000,000 FCFA. The commune of Nguelebok will carry out rehabilitation work on the Nyamtimbi-Baka camp axis (09km) for an amount of 60,000,000 FCFA, the commune of Kenzou will carry out maintenance work on the Boye - Gouandi municipal road (phase 1) for 70,000,000 FCFA and in the commune of Kete, an envelope of 65,000,000 will make it possible to maintain the section of the Boubarra - Gbiti - RCA border road.
Finally in the department of Lom and Djerem, three municipalities are concerned, this is the municipality of Bertoua 1 where construction work is planned for a definitive bridge over the Koumé river on the Koumé Bonis-Camp Militaire road (PC of the 12th BRIM) for an amount of 100,000,000 FCFA. The other municipality of Lom and Djerem to benefit in 2024 is that of Diang with maintenance work on road sections Entrance CEAC - CEAC - Carrefour ELECAM - Storage store (1.7 km), Carrefour ELECAM - CETIC Saint Joseph (2 km) and Saint Joseph College Entrance - Carrefour Résidence Ndongmoui - Municipal Inn (2.3 km).
